Stop playing word games

As a retired teacher of well over 30 years, I and my fellow teachers always felt that in addition to the class information our kids needed to learn, teaching them to be independent thinkers and sound decision-makers was equally important.

European and Asian schools (China has their kids in school 10 to 11 months a year and they study!) are doing this now. Teachers in many of our schools in the United States do, too.
