ELIZABETH JACKSON: It's been an extraordinary week in Burma, where a series of by-elections have installed democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi and members of her party in the parliament.
It's been a long time coming.
She and her National League for Democracy won elections in 1990 but were never allowed to take power and she spent most of the intervening years under house arrest.
