Carl Levin, D-Mich., said the country needs to protect science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education while also reducing the federal deficit.
Speaking in front of a crowd of about 40 community members at Delta College, 1961 Delta Road, as part of the “Tech-knowledge-y” event, Levin started his 20-minute presentation by giving examples of technological advancements he sees every day.
