Sturgis schools show technology doesn’t have to be expensive

Once the classrooms have equipment such as computers, TVs and digital cameras, feeding the digital natives isn’t always a high dollar.
At Sturgis Public Schools, many teachers are enhancing teaching with free or relatively inexpensive software.
Smart music
Among the many computer programs available is Smart Music, which is being used this year by James Whitehead, Sturgis Middle School band teacher.
